1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

Article Processing Charges (APCs) are payable only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication unless otherwise stated by the journal.

2. Non-Refundable Payments

Once an APC has been paid and the publication process has commenced, the payment is generally non-refundable. This includes situations where:

• The author decides to withdraw the manuscript after payment.

• The author fails to submit requested revisions within the required timeframe.

• The manuscript is withdrawn by the author after acceptance.

• The article has entered production, copyediting, typesetting, proofreading, or publication.

This policy exists because editorial assessment, peer review coordination, manuscript processing, and publication services incur operational costs regardless of whether the article is ultimately published.

3. Exceptional Refunds

Refunds may be considered only under exceptional circumstances, including:

• Duplicate payment made by the author.

• Incorrect payment resulting from a technical error.

• Payment processed in error by the journal.

• Failure of the journal to provide publication services due to circumstances solely attributable to the journal.

Refund requests are reviewed individually and approval is at the sole discretion of the Editorial Office.

4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, authors should contact the Editorial Office and provide:

• Full name

• Manuscript title

• Manuscript ID

• Proof of Payment

• Reason for the refund request

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds are normally processed within 7-14 business days. Actual receipt of funds depends on the payment provider and the customer's financial institution.
