PUBLICATION MODEL

JBESED operates a continuous publication model, which means that accepted articles are published online as soon as they complete peer review, copyediting, typesetting, and final editorial approval. This approach allows authors’ work to become available to readers without unnecessary delay.

1 Key Features of the Model

  • Fast-track dissemination of accepted research
  • No delays due to issue scheduling
  • Stable volume and issue tracking for indexing databases

Although articles are published continuously, JBESED organises published articles into formal issues for citation, indexing, archiving, and discoverability purposes.

2 Number of Issues Per Year

JBESED publishes a minimum of two issues per year. These issues are normally released within the journal’s annual publication cycle and may be organized as:

  • Issue 1
  • Issue 2

Additional special issues may be published where appropriate, subject to editorial approval, availability of quality submissions, and relevance to the journal’s scope.

3 Annual Article Output

To maintain publication quality, editorial consistency, and effective peer review management, JBESED aims to publish an average of 20 to 40 articles per year, depending on the number and quality of accepted manuscripts.

This annual output may vary from year to year based on submission volume, peer review outcomes, editorial decisions, and special issue publications.

4 Continuous Publication and Issue Assignment

Once a manuscript is accepted and production is completed, it may be published online immediately under the current open issue. Articles are assigned final citation details, including volume, issue, page/article number, DOI, and publication date.

This ensures that all articles are properly indexed, cited, archived, and discoverable.

5 Special Issues

JBESED may publish special issues on selected themes within the journal’s scope. Special issues must follow the same editorial standards, peer review process, ethical requirements, and publication policies as regular issues.

The publication of special issues does not compromise the journal’s regular publication schedule.

6 Publication Regularity Statement

JBESED is committed to maintaining a consistent and transparent publication schedule. The journal publishes continuously online and releases at least two issues annually, with an expected average output of 20 articles per year.

7 Editorial Commitment

This model ensures that JBESED maintains both the speed of publication and academic rigour, supporting rapid knowledge sharing while preserving editorial quality and archival stability.
